Cristi is a well-known and highly appreciated Tango DJ, regularly invited to perform at national and international tango events.
More than just a Tango DJ, Cristi is also an experienced tango dancer, teacher, and event organizer. He has been dancing tango since 2010, and in 2013 he founded Atelierul de Tango Iași together with his partner, Iulia. Through their school, they have played an important role in the growth and development of the Romanian tango community. Since 2014, they have also been organizing Festivalito Verano in Iași—a festival created by friends, for friends, celebrating the joy and spirit of Argentine tango.
Cristi's passion for tango music began alongside his journey as a dancer. As a Tango DJ, he is known for creating vibrant, energetic milongas with carefully crafted rhythmic tandas that keep the dance floor alive. His musical heart belongs to the four great pillars of Argentine tango—D'Arienzo, Troilo, Di Sarli, and Pugliese—with a strong preference for their Golden Age recordings. At the same time, he is far from being a strict traditionalist. When the moment is right, he skillfully introduces carefully selected contemporary orchestras, creating a fresh and dynamic musical journey while always respecting the essence of the milonga.
